Chinese has a long history in identifying and interpreting stars. In fact, many prediction methodologies we used today – i.e. astrology, augury, and feng shui – are derived from the stars system.

In the past, astronomers were appointed to important government positions to keep track of the solar, lunar, and planetary motions. More importantly, government astronomers would predict the trend of the dynasty for the ruling emperor. Likewise, astronomers would forecast the economy of the country, rise and fall of emperor, and natural disasters through stars.

Chinese divided the whole sky into 3 sections: i.) the Purple Palace Enclosure; ii.) the Heavenly Market Enclosure; and iii.) the Supreme Palace Enclosure. Within these 3 enclosures, there are also 28 star groups. آ

In Zhiwei astrology, we always hear about the zhiwei star, but do we actually have a zhiwei star in the sky? If so, what does this star represent?

1.)آ آ آ  Do I need to know something about stars or Chinese Metaphysics taking this course?

NO. This is the reason that we are here to teach you. You do not need any knowledge in Chinese Metaphysics prior to taking this course. Although some prior experiences would allow you to pick up faster, we have develop our course so that both experienced or novice students will be able to learn all the course materials and use the knowledge upon completion. Although the subject itself has a long history, Chinese Stars Identification and Interpretation is a new course that not many places teach; so most of the students should be very new to this as well.آ

2.)آ آ آ  I have been practicing Chinese Metaphysics (i.e. Feng Shui, Astrology, Augury, and etc.) for a long time, would I find any benefits from this course?

Definitely, you might acquire many experiences in this field in the past years, but again, this course is very new to the public. The reason that not much people teach this subject is due to the complexity of stars. Chinese Stars cannot be learned from the books because most of the star maps are quite different from the actual sky. As we mentioned before, most of the Chinese Metaphysics methodologies are derived from the Chinese Stars system; so by taking this course, not only will you learn about Chinese Stars, but you would also strengthen your understanding in most of the other fields.
