Mr. Joseph Yu is very skilful in making others to believe that he is an expert in I Ching, let us look at the following example:
After I mentioned:
There are 3 meanings in the idea of “Yi 易” in I-Ching:
- Simple;
- Not Change; and
- Change

He, then, wrote another article in his blog:
When one of his student reminded him where did this idea come from, Mr. Joseph Yu told his student, “When I mention the word "Yi 易", I am referring to the concept of Yi (易理). I am not referring to the Yijing 易經 but the concept embodied in the Yijing 易經.”
I am sure that he did not know the difference between Yi (易理) and Yijing 易經 until he had read my post http://www.royalacademicinstitute.com ... s/article.php?storyid=253
He probably would not agree to what I said about him, but let’s look at another example that can prove whether if he really knew it or not.
As his student mentioned where the 3 meanings of Yi came from, his student quoted,
“Kong Yingda says in his Zhouyi Zhengyi 周易正義 that the three meanings 簡易, 不易 and 變易 stem from the Qian Zaodu 乾鑿度”
and Mr. Joseph Yu said,
“This is slightly different from what Kong YingDa 孔颖達 was talking about.”
Their comments have clearly indicated that Mr. Joseph Yu and his student did not realize Zhouyi Zhengyi 周易正義 and Qian Zaodu 乾鑿度 were copied from another scholar. Perhaps, Joseph and his Feng Shui Research Center students can do some research on the internet or in books to find the original source. Little hint for Mr. Joseph Yu, there are over 3000 I-Ching books, so if you ask all of your students to help, you should be able to find the answer quickly.
To proof Mr. Joseph Yu is unfamiliar with “I-Ching易經” or “I-Studies易學”, he has made a serious mistake in his new post: (……to be continue)
