Surfing on Chinese metaphysic over 40 years –17

Compass school and form school is a couple; they should be always sitting together. Unfortunate, not every Feng Shui master have both knowledge.

Deal to covering their shortage of knowledge in either side, they started to attack the other side. That makes this real couple divorced in the Feng Shui history.

A real lineage never disclose their knowledge because of afraid the punishment from the universe, instead of debating or arguing with those masters, they just wrote a little bit hints in their books.

Although some of the later masters try hard to combine Form and Compass together, but during their practice, the conflict always happen.

Is any way to solve this problem?

Yes, Master Chang Tai Hung蔣大鴻 said, “When your form school achieved the top level, the compass school should be there. When your compass school achieved the top level, the form school should be there. 精於巒頭者,其盡頭工夫,理氣自合。精於理氣者,其盡頭工夫,巒頭自見”

You can see the only path you can go is either maximize your Form school knowledge to the peak level or maximize your Compass school knowledge to the peak level. Then you can overcome this problem in Feng Shui. Otherwise you better find a master who truly knows this couple.
