| 3 – What kinds of knowledge you should have before you address yourself as a “Feng Shui Master”?
To answer this question, we can base on 2 major points of view to make a conclusion.
1. The curriculum of Feng Shui.
2. The inheritance method of Feng Shui knowledge.
1. The curriculum of Feng Shui:
The curriculum of Feng Shui basically is covering 2 major categories, one is the Yin Feng Shui, and the other is the Yang Feng Shui. Before I go any further, I need to explain what Yin Feng Shui is and what Yang Feng Shui is?
Yin Feng Shui is related to the death people. In Chinese culture, we need to burial our ancestor’s body in a peaceful way after they pass away. We try to avoid the body gets wet, exposes in the open area, or let the animals eat the dead body. This is based on the dutiful perspective. From time to time, the burial experience was building up as a theory and collected in a famous Feng Shui book, “Burial Bible 葬書”. The rest of Feng Shui books are based on it to develop their theories.
Yang Feng Shui is related to the living people. The Chinese ancestors try to find a peaceful land to form their families and avoid any nature disasters happen to them. It also based on the daily activities to organize their house. Those methods were collecting in a famous Feng Shui book, “The King’s House Bible 黃帝宅經”.
Although the above is only part of the Feng Shui history, if you haven’t studied these 2 classic books, can you call yourself as a “Feng Shui Master”?
When you open any ancient Feng Shui books, you will find 99.9% of Feng Shui books are talking the Yin Feng Shui. If you never know about Yin Feng Shui or don’t believe in it, can you qualify to call yourself as a “Feng Shui Master”?
