| My Feng Shui researches 12 - Tai Yue大禹(2200 - 2100 BC)
Tai Yue大禹 (2200 - 2100 BC) is one of our important ancestors, he used 13 years to rebuild 9 rivers to solve the flooding in China. During this moment, he was working so hard with his assistants, although three times past his house, he had not stay for a moment with his family. We can see how concentrated and responsible that he was.
After his King pass away, he was inherited his position. In traditional the King’s position was inherited by someone who had the ability to take care of the people and country. We called it “Sim Yeung 禪讓 -to abdicate and give the crown to”.
The King’s position inherited from one generation to another generation in the same family was starting from his son, Kai啟.
Moreover, his contribution was not only solve the flooding problem, he also found the universal secrets - Tou 河圖 and Lok Syu 洛書, and received bronze from nine territories of China to create nine pieces of “Ding鼎” vessels called the Nine Tripod Cauldrons.
I went with my in-house students to visiting his temple and grave to show our respects for him. You can see it in the following photos.
