| Sequence of 5 schools in Chinese metaphysic
Most of the people step into the Chinese metaphysic door will find out the sequence of the 5 schools: - Mountain 山(Shan), Medical 醫(Yee), Augury 卜(Bok), Astrology星(Sing) and Face Reading相(Shen).
In traditional Chinese writing arts, important thing should write first and less important is following. From the above sequence of 5 schools, Face Reading is at the end, it means Face Reading is less important then the other 4 schools.
I must clarify that Face Reading is not the right word to translate the school of “Shen 相”, because “Shen 相” includes the Feng Shui which is the most masters or practitioners don’t know. They either classified Feng Shui into “Mountain山(Shan) or “Augury卜(Bok)”. If you are deep in Chinese metaphysic, you would fully agree with me.
Moreover, everyone has a feeling of the others, he or she will have an emotion to like and trust this individual or not. This type or feeling normally either coming from own passes experiences or intuition; he or she believes this feeling is real and true until they get a different result one day.
If you ask 10 of the Chinese, 9 of them can tell you something about someone’s face. It is because face reading is widely spread out in the Chinese society. Most of the Chinese have learnt a little bit of face reading and they used this limit knowledge for their interpretation.
Based on these perspectives, face reading was under evaluated and overlooked by most of the people.
Once you have a deep knowledge in Chinese metaphysic, you may wonder why those recognized masters have a very good skill in Face Reading and Augury. Is it only a coincident or you overlook this valuable knowledge?
