| Chinese has its amazing grammar, the same words putting in different combination has different kind of meaning. Let me gave you an example.
Read, dead, book, these 3 words would understand by most of the Chinese when they are separated, but when these 3 words get together, then it may not be every Chinese would fully understand.
Read dead book means not comprehend a book.
Read book dead means die in exhausted of reading book.
Dead book read means read a reincarnation book.
Dead read book means reading a lot of books.
Book read dead means concentrate to read a book.
Book dead read means cannot make the book’s contents applicable.
讀死書
一成不變讀死書，
過度用功讀書死。
欲解輪迴死書讀。
學博才多死讀書，
得道之時書死讀。
通達不再書讀死。
Therefore different levels of the masters have different interpretation of the classic books because of their Chinese level are different. If you don’t have good understanding in Chinese, how do you know who is right and who is wrong? Then you will find the master who has the same understanding level of Chinese as you become as your master.
