Program Overview:

With the enormous amount of Feng Shui schools – Flying Stars, 8 Mansions, Xuan Kong, San He, Zi Bai, San Yuan, and etc. – today, and that some of the theories contradict with the others; it is difficult for us to determine which theory follows the original Feng Shui principles.

When the ancient Chinese constructed their homes and other buildings, they always consulted with a Feng Shui master. As a result, the original Feng Shui principles and techniques are preserved in those ancient architectures. Through the palaces, great mansions, ancestral halls, temples, and gardens, we are able to learn their Feng Shui techniques. History has shown some of the outcomes for us to analyze and study.

Ancient Chinese architectures have some commonalities among their structures and designs, what are them? When they built their houses, they also concern about the “chi” or airflow, so how did they build to maximize the “chi” capacity?

With this Traditional Chinese Architecture (In-Class) Level 1 course, you will be able to acquire many important information about Traditional Chinese Architectures, which will improve your skills in Feng Shui. FAQ:

1.)    Do I need to know something about Feng Shui or Chinese Metaphysics taking this course?

NO. This is the reason that we are here to teach you. You do not need any knowledge in Chinese Metaphysics prior to taking this course. Although some prior experiences would allow you to pick up faster, we have develop our course so that both experienced or novice students will be able to learn all the course materials and use the knowledge upon completion. When we have the site-visiting section of this course in December 2007, some of the students have little or no background in Feng Shui, but they still learn a lot of useful knowledge. You can see some of the testimonials in the page.

2.)    I have been practicing Feng Shui for a long time, would I find any benefits from this course?

Definitely, you might acquire many experiences in this field in the past years, but again, this course is quite new to the public. When we have the site-visiting section of this course in December 2007, some of the students have been practicing Feng Shui for many years and some of them are even famous masters in the field. However, they all find this course very useful toward their skills in Feng Shui. In fact, some of the testimonials can be found in this page.

3.)    Why should I take this course when I can learn something else in Feng Shui?

Again, as we described in the course overview, Traditional Chinese Architecture (In-Class) Level 1 is a course that focuses primarily in the ancient Chinese architectures. In fact, through those different architectures, you would be able to learn some original Feng Shui principles, which can testify your own skills. There are many famous and excellent Feng Shui masters in the past, and their skills can be found in the work that they leave behind. Instead searching for more, why don’t we start from the right path?

4.)    What do I need to bring/prepare for this course?

As most of the materials, even your lunch and tea breaks, are provided by our agent – IC Global Solutions Inc. – there is not much that you need to bring. However, we would ask you to bring your genuine interest and an open mind to learn the course materials from this course.

5.)    I lived outside of Toronto, is there any accommodation around the course location.
